Hello,

The US Department of Homeland Security has given five countries – France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and Greece - until February 1 to fix “crucial loopholes” in their systems or face being kicked out visa waiver program, reported Politico.
The system allows citizens of 38 countries access to the United States for tourism or business without a visa.
The White House announced in November it would accelerate an inquiry into the visa waiver programme, reporting directly to President Obama. Countries that are “deficient in key areas of cooperation” face having their access to the visa waiver program revoked, it said at the time.
“At this time, no determination has been made on changing the status of any current visa waiver programme partner country,” said S.Y. Lee, a Department for Homeland Security spokesman.
The review will also look at incorporating biometric checks - using fingerprints and photographs - into the programme to increase security.
